MAKAUT University has Published its comprehensive holiday List for All Year students, faculty, and staff with a well-deserved break from the rigors of academic life. This holiday calendar includes a mix of national and religious holidays, as well as days specific to the university.
In pursuance to the Govt. of West Bengal G.O. bearing No. 4331-F (P) dated 21th October, 2022, the list of holidays for the year 2023 for Students, Teachers, Officers and Non-teaching staff members of the University are as follows:

MAKAUT HOLIDAY LIST 2023 for Students and Teaching Staff
MAKAUT University is committed to creating an inclusive environment that values diversity and respects different religious beliefs. As such, the university recognizes several National Holidays (Republic Day, Independence Day), Religious Holidays (Eid al-Fitr, Diwali).
During these holidays, students, faculty, and staff have the option to take the day off, but some few Special days Official Celebration may held. Otherwise these holidays, the university is closed, and classes and other academic activities are Remained Off.

Holidays with double ** are holidays under Negotiable Instruments Act (N I Act).
- Birthday of Pandit Raghunath Murmu falls on 5th May, Friday, which is a holiday under N. I. Act and therefore has not been mentioned in the list separately.
- Shab-e-Barat, Sectional Holiday for Muslim Community falls on 8th March, 2023 (Wednesday), which is a Holiday under State Government & therefore has not been shown in the list separately.
