Westbengal Chief Minister Relief Fund Scholarship for the "North Bengal" mostly Known as "Uttar Kanya Scholarship" is an initiative of Smt. Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of Westbengal.

Through This program students get EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE as Scholarship from  Chief Minister’s Relief Fund give Financial scarcity of meritorious students for pursuing higher education.

What is Westbengal Uttar Kanya Scholarship 2022 ?

Westbengal Govt. Uttar Kanya Scholarship 2023: Under this scholarship program, Meritorious students of Westbengal Domicile of NorthBengal District (Coochbehar, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur & Malda) studying in Class 11 [Madhyamik Passed], Undergraduate courses H.S Passed [BA, Bsc, BCom]  and  Post Graduate Level [MA, MSc] will be entitled to receive a scholarship of INR 10,000 (one-time) to support their academic expenses and Career Counselling while pursuing higher education.

Step1: At first You Have to Download the Application Form PDF and make a Form Print Out, Fill all the Section Carefully like- Your Name, Address and Institution Details and Last Exam Details.

Then You Have Collect the Following Documents as Photocopy Attested from Head of the Institution with Official Seal and Stamp.

Step2: After Application Form Fill Up and Documents Attachment, you Have to send your Application form to the Office Address of  the @UTTARKANYA CMRF Office.

Nabanna Scholarship and Uttarkanya Scholarship - The Difference

Nabanna Scholarship and Uttarkanya Scholarship are Same But for Different part of West Bengal. "Nabanna Scholarship" is known for Westbengal Chief Minister Relief Fund Scholarship is For South Bengal Students, On other hand, "Uttarkanya Scholarship" is Also Under of CMRF for Northbengal Development Department for the students of North Bengal.
So, The names are different but Both are actually a Same Scholarship which is Funded By financial assistance from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund by the CMRF Cell of Chief Minister’s Office.
