What is TFW?
TFW means Tuition Fee Waiver. It is a very popular scheme of westbengal state for admission in various Under Graduate college under Westbengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW) has been implemented by the Government of West Bengal for meritorious and economically backward students.

Eligibility For TFW Scheme
- The student and his Family must be domiciled in West Bengal
- His/her total annual Family Income from all sources must be less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs (Rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand only)
- The student have to get a secure Rank in WBJEE Examination
Benefits of TFW Scheme
- The student will get Extra Benefit of TFW Rank and Get TFW Seat
- The Total Course Tuition Fees will Paid by Government
- The waiver is limited to the Tuition Fee only. All other fees will have to be paid by the student.
Process of Getting TFW
- For getting the benefits of Government TFW Scheme, you have to select TFW Category at the time of Registration and Form Fill of WBJEE Examination.
- If you full filled all Eligibility Criteria (i.e. Income & Domical) you will get a TFW Rank at the Publication Of Grade Card from WBJEE Board with your regular GMR Rank.
- After that, if you wanted to take admission under TFW then you have to Submit Domicile Certificate & Annual Income Proforma as like WBJEEB Given Format. I already Give this PDF link in Above.
- In counselling If you Get a TFW Reserve Seat, Only Then you will Get the Benefits of Tuition Fee Waiver.
Will I Get SVMCM Scholarship if Selected for TFW WBJEE 2021

Rules and Guidelines for TFW Income Certificate
Submission of Income Certificate in availing seat under the TFW
Scheme
a) Candidates must produce the Income Certificate as per the proforma
provided in this Information Bulletin.
b) Candidates claiming such seats must submit relevant Certificate
issued by the competent authorities as enlisted below.
- An officer in the rank of Assistant Secretary or above in State or Central Govt.
- District Magistrate
- Additional District Magistrate
- Sub-Divisional Officer
- Block Development Officer
Note: [Income certificate issued by any elected people’s
representative such as Municipal Commissioner, Councilor of
Municipal Corporation/Municipality, Member of three-tier
Panchayat system or GTA, MLA or MP are not acceptable.]
